The MRF-350 receives Narrow Band RF (radio frequency) signals via the RFX-250 RF Sensor (antenna module). The RFX-250 displays RF interference via a bright red LED which flickers when interference is present. Simply relocate the RFX-250 out of the interference area to resolve the problem.

What Customers Say About Universal MRF-350 RF Base Station:

After I did that everything worked flawlessly.Since I programmed my remote the first time I knew exactly where to go in to program to adjust the RF/IR for the devices.I am very happy with this device and it has exceeded all of my expectations. The receiver needs to be powered so I had to use the wire that you screwed onto the RF inputs. I DO NOT recommend this for the novice, but if you can program the remote control by yourself this is a piece of cake. I bought this device because I had 2 DirecTV receivers hooked up to the same TV and I had no other way to get them to work with UR MX-900.I am NOT a professional installer, but I am very technically proficient and I set up my entire home theater by myself.I thought the installation instructions were inaccurate. The manual says that if you are using only 1 receiver you can just plug it in with the headphone jack, but this is wrong.
Just in time for the holidays. Finally got this installed and we are having a blast using the system. It seems to be working flawlessly.
The base station, along with the mx850 remote, require the services of a professional installer unless your do-it-yourself skills are exceptionally advanced.
It also comes with many high quality stick-on IR repeaters for cabinet installations. The unit projects IR from the base unit itself if you want to point it at your setup or a mirror. I had zero problems. I controlled this with an MX850 Universal remote and it worked perfectly the first time.
I got everything set up and working in less than 2 hours. Very user friendly.
